Cleanliness

Should I have my bins cleaned?

If your asking the question, then the answer is definitely ‘yes’.

For most, it is an unpleasant smell that draws them to have their bins cleaned, unwanted insect infestations and the attraction of pests or a stubborn mark or waste building in and around your bins. However, it is the unseen which should be one of the main reasons to get your bins cleaned. Unknowingly, bacteria is always building in your bins, and it is for this reason you should have your bins cleaned on a scheduled basis. Aside from your bins smelling and looking considerably better, you should also make sure that your bins are being cleaned using a good sanitiser

Process

What is bin cleaning?

Bin cleaning involves the professional cleaning and sanitizing of your waste and recycling bins. It includes removing debris, disinfecting, deodorizing, and sometimes applying pest control treatments to prevent odors and infestations.

What size bins do you clean?

We clean both plastic bins, with sizes ranging from 80L to 1100L and Metal bins with sizes ranging from 1.5m to 6.0m. Give us a call and we can provide a customised quote to suit your needs.

How often should I have my bins cleaned?

How regularly you have your bins cleaned, really depends on how frequently you use your bins and how you dispose of your rubbish. If you dispose of all your rubbish in bags, and there is no spillage then you can minimise the frequency of cleans. If your bins are filled via a chute system, then it is more likely you will need them cleaned more frequently. If you are busy restaurant, hospital or aged care facility, or a hotel, then again a regular cleaning cycle would be recommended. For most commercial properties, this looks like a weekly, fortnightly or 4-weekly cycle. For apartments, it could be anywhere from 4-weekly to 12-weekly. At Super Clean Bins, we are happy to work with you to help determine what will be the most effective frequency of cleaning to meet your needs.

What kind of products do you use to clean the bins?

At Super Clean Bins, we use environmentally friendly degreasers and hospital grade sanitisers and reoderisers to make sure your bins are left smelling fresh and looking spotless. We also use a high-pressure gun with clean water to spray your bins.

What happens to the waste and debris after the cleaning?

If there is small amount of waste left in the bins or stuck to the bin, we will remove this for you and then neatly place back into the bin after we have finished cleaning it. In most cases, this will be contained neatly in a box.

What if I didn’t take my bins out on the scheduled cleaning day?

We are very considerate and do understand that mistakes can be made, and when that is the case, communication is the key. If you do forget to take out your bins or you notice that they have not been emptied by your waste contractor, then give us a call as soon as possible to avoid any unnecessary costs.

Quality

Can you clean my bins if they are really dirty or have been neglected for a long time?

At Super Clean bins, our focus is on Commercial bin cleaning, so we don’t shy away from dirty bins. We can make the most horrible bins, in most cases look new again.

What do I when my bin is damaged?

It is always best to get a replacement bin from your waste contractor to avoid any unnecessary waste materials escaping through holes in the bin or causing injury to those using the bins. At Super Clean Bins, we are happy to do an assessment of your bins and report back on the condition of each of them for you.

How much does bin cleaning cost?

We can provide a customised quote which will be based on the size and number of your bins, the frequency of cleaning required and the location the bins are kept in. We are always happy to have a chat to see how we can best help. The more frequently you need bins cleaned, the better pricing options we can offer.

How do I schedule a bin cleaning?

You organise a clean by submitting a quote request on our website, sending us an email or giving us a call. One of our friendly staff will be able to respond with a competitive quote and a scheduled cleaning date.
